Wales Comedian Con is transferring from Wrexham to Telford in England.
The bi-annual occasion was held for the 11th 12 months in April at Wrexham’s Glyndwr College.
Organisers introduced the December occasion would happen “simply over the border” and might be named Wales Comedian Con: Telford Takeover.
April’s occasion attracted huge names from the Cosplay world, together with Rupert Grint, David Tennant and Kiefer Sutherland.
Followers of the occasion expressed their disappointment on Twitter, describing it as a “big loss” to Wrexham.
Telford, in Shropshire, is roughly 34 miles (55.1 km) from Wrexham.
Wrexham councillor Phil Wynn mentioned the current occasion had prompted parking points.
