LANSING — Organizers have cancelled the Three Stacks Music Pageant.
The pageant, which was alleged to characteristic 22 music acts, will now not happen, in line with a press release launched Tuesday on the pageant’s web site.
“There’s no simple technique to say this,” the assertion stated. “The 2019 version of the Three Stacks Music Pageant has been canceled.
The occasion was scheduled for June 22 in Lansing’s REO City neighborhood. The primary iteration of the pageant was held final 12 months.
“Attributable to plenty of elements, we really feel that we’re unable to ship artists and followers an expertise we’d be pleased with, and for that cause, we now have chosen to not transfer ahead with the occasion.”
Individuals who bought tickets for the pageant can get refunds on the level of buy, in line with the web site. Those that bought tickets through ticketweb.com will obtain refunds “inside every week or so,” the web site stated.
The Breeders, an alternate rock band, and rapper Talib Kweli have been billed in late March as headliners for the pageant when its lineup was made public.
